Biography
M. Noga is a Polish contemporary artist based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She holds a Master's degree in Painting from the University of Warmia and Mazury and previously studied Literature at Nicolaus Copernicus University.
Working primarily in oil on canvas, Noga explores identity as a process of transformation rather than a fixed state. Her paintings combine fragmented anatomy, symbolic objects and sculptural drapery to examine memory, ritual and psychological change. Drawing on references from Renaissance painting and classical sculpture, she creates figures that exist between preservation and dissolution.
Her current body of work develops a symbolic visual language in which porcelain, roots, marble fragments and ceremonial banquets become metaphors for vulnerability, inheritance and reconstruction.
