Biography
Born in 1983, France-Lise McGurn is a Scottish painter. She received her MA in painting from the Royal College of Art, London.
McGurn explores themes of consciousness, motherhood and sexuality through her paintings. Her loosely figurative work, coupled with the use of whimsical pastel colors, create dreamlike, ethereal canvases.
McGurn's works have been exhibited across the United Kingdom. In 2019, a solo exhibition of her paintings took place at the Tate Britain.
