Ligia Perju

Ligia, a Romanian-born artist, uncovered her passion for painting later in life after initially pursuing studies in journalism and business, which ultimately proved unfulfilling. Upon relocating to England at the age of 20, she discovered her true calling in the world of art. It wasn't until the summer of 2022 that Ligia began painting, using this newfound creative outlet to navigate mental health challenges. Although she had dabbled in photography since a young age, it wasn't until the beginning of 2024 that she began to take it more seriously.

Through her art, Ligia has found a profound way to express herself and her emotions freely. Painting has become deeply ingrained in her life, serving as both a release and a form of self-expression. Ligia now views painting as a serious pursuit that she intends to dedicate herself to indefinitely.
