Biography
Born in 1937, Garry Gross was an American photographer. Gross's works were highly controversial as he often utilized underage adolescents as the subject of his nude photography.
Gross studied at the School of Modern Photography before becoming a freelance photographer. Most widely known for his exploitative shoot of a 10 year old Brooke Shields, Gross photographed many other celebrities during his career including Gloria Steinem, Whitney Houston and Calvin Klein.
After the conclusion of his lawsuit with Shields, Gross switched to animal photography. He died in 2010.
