Biography

Cuban-American artist Gabriela Noelle (born 1990) creates playable artworks and interactive objects inspired by childhood. From functional pieces like indoor swings to three-dimensional sculptures in public spaces, all of her pieces encourage the viewer to see the world through the eyes of a child. This childlike perspective encourages the viewer to use their imagination, exercise their curiosity, and connect with their environment.

Gabriela sees her work as a preservation practice, serving to document our time on Earth for future generations.

Recent exhibitions and collaborations include Just a Space, curated by Sarah Andelman, Pop Up Park at Ten over Six, a radiant mobile at Nashville International Airport, and a collection with London-based designer Mira Mikati.
