Biography

Legendary graffiti writer Duster UA gained worldwide recognition as Seen’s protégé in the seminal graffiti documentary Style Wars from 1983. He is known for his fluid forms and for his "wild styles" that he painted on train cars.

He is responsible for some of the most historic wholecars ever painted on the New York City subways, immortalized in the pages of Subway Art. And since then has been largely reclusive.

His achievements and profile led to New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art purchasing a Duster work. Duster continues to exhibit around the world, becoming increasingly more recognized for his role in the scene he helped to shape decades before.
