Biography
After working in the field of architecture and interior design for over ten years in Milan, Paris, London and Abu Dhabi, Luca De Gaetano moved to the U.S. in 2008 to pursue his love and his career in the arts.
He received scholarships and awards from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and from Boston University (MFA 2013). Since then he spend most of his time painting in the studio, and traveling between Europe and the US.
His work has been shown and reviewed in the Boston area, Italy and France. In 2013 Luca De Gaetano started teaching Drawing and Painting at Boston University in Venice, keeping this position and his studio during four semesters. He just moved back to Boston to continue his work.
Since 2013 Luca De Gaetano started collaborating with fashion designer Massimo Giorgetti for MSGM, creating paintings and drawings for prints to be featured in his collections.
