From Paul Leibow's early work done with recording artist Bruce Springsteen for his world tour, curators from both the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Whitney Museum have selected his work for publications and catalogued his art film in their database.

Leibow picks up on cultural and socio-political vibrations, and gives them back through his art with its humanity, gender and/or sociological themes. Recognizable, yet altered graphic icons are reconstructed references.
