Florah Maphosa

Florah Maphosa (born 18 September 2004 in Gweru, Midlands Province, Zimbabwe) is an emerging young visual artist known for her bold, expressive portraiture celebrating Zimbabwean women. She is currently in residence at the Swiss‑Zim Heritage Gallery studio in Domboshava, Harare, where her creative voice has blossomed under the mentorship of experienced Zimbabwean artists and curators.

Her work, often featuring strong female figures in ornate headwraps rendered in vibrant color, marries pop sensibility with cultural storytelling.
