Set of 6 Oyster shell Incenses Holder, 2023

WKND Lab

This artwork features six minimalist sculptures, each resembling an organic, pebble-like formation. Crafted from smooth, light-toned material, the pieces exhibit subtle textures and a matte finish, evoking a sense of natural simplicity. Each sculpture has a distinct, abstract shape, but they all share a common feature: a small, protruding knob, suggesting playful engagement with the viewer. The arrangement in two rows invites contemplation of their harmonious balance and asymmetry. The art effectively blurs the line between nature and human intervention, inviting interpretations related to growth, connection, and continuity. Its unique ability to evoke tactile curiosity sets it apart, encouraging an interactive experience. Positioned under bright lighting, the shadows cast add depth and dimension, enhancing their understated elegance. The composition speaks to the beauty of imperfection and the profound appeal of subtlety in modern design.
