Description

This composition explores the serenity of an Amazonian landscape. The eye is immediately caught by a red flower button, the only colored note in the center of a nature in dull tones. 
The artist pays meticulous attention to the rendering of textures. The large lotus leaves, with marked veins, float with an organic heaviness on the water's surface. 
The work on light creates a striking contrast between the areas of deep shadow and the reflections of the water surface. 
In the background, massive tree trunks rise, forming a curtain of vegetation. 
The precision of the line emphasizes a contemplative and patient approach to nature. 
The almost sculptural rendering of the plants brings tangible depth to the scene. 
The whole exudes an atmosphere of absolute calm, where every botanical detail is treated with expert rigor. 
The composition closes with plays of transparency and shades of dark green.
