Description
The artwork on display is a striking example of the modern abstract movement, capturing the essence of dynamic energy through the bold use of colour and geometric shapes. The complex composition is centred on a series of rectangular and circular shapes, arranged to create a sense of movement and life. Vibrant tones including blue, yellow, green and red intertwine and form a powerful contrast with the touches of black that structure the whole. A fascinating twist is the asymmetrical use of elements, which guides the viewer's eye through an enchanting visual journey. The inclusion of stylised figurative elements, such as animal-like shapes and architectural structures, brings a touch of surrealism to this abstract ensemble. This intriguing juxtaposition of recognisable elements and abstract forms prompts questions about the artist's meaning and intent. This masterpiece invites exploration and personal interpretation, giving free rein to the viewer's imagination. It is a shining example of how abstract art can evoke complex emotions and provoke deep reflections.
Presentation
Justine Bonvarlet's painting is abstract and a little figurative.
Her medium of expression is Pastel as well as Acrylic and India Ink.
For the last 16 years, Justine Bonvarlet's work has focused on colour in all its forms of expression, drawing inspiration from the great masters such as Kandinsky ‘the spirit of forms’, Matisse for his imagination and Chagall for his drawings! Picasso's Blue and Pink periods, Mondrian's abstraction... The squares of colour.
Her ultimate aim: to admire, to make people laugh and to make them dream! Preferably with joy and good humour!
