Description
Original artwork created from the cover of a vintage album cover, reinterpreted with the intervention of the character Roboïde. With a simple and direct gesture, the artist superimposes a naive and colorful figure onto a popular icon, creating a contrast between collective memory and contemporary imagination.
The Roboïde, depicted here as an electrician holding a lit lightbulb, introduces an interpretation that is both poetic and subtly ironic. The intervention engages with the history of the medium, without denying it, and creates a tension between nostalgia and critical perspective.
Carefully framed, the work is part of a process of reappropriating cultural objects, somewhere between pop culture and outsider art. Every detail—the wear and tear on the support, the bold colors, the simplicity of the line—contributes to a deliberately direct and accessible aesthetic.
