Description
This lush vegetation creates a pattern. It is a window on the imagination of an Eden, exotic and sensual, fantasized by the artist. Célia Picard draws in Indian ink, on paper, flat plants, without perspective, which seem to be in motion.
Presentation
Célia Picard is a young artist graduated from the Fine Arts of Toulouse. His drawings of lush vegetation invest the imagination with a sensual and fantasized exoticism. They evoke distant jungles, a motif from elsewhere and yet are a representation of the floral vegetation and foliage of idealized France.
