The scene radiates a peaceful stillness, as if the building itself is quietly breathing beneath the weight of time. At the heart of the painting is a green wooden door, nestled within a beautifully arched stone doorway. The door's surface, rich in patina, suggests years of use and stories untold. The arched design above it, complete with carved embellishments, adds a subtle sense of elegance and craftsmanship, hinting at the home's age and the pride once taken in its construction. The green hue of the door provides a vibrant focal point amidst the earthy palette that dominates the composition. Surrounding the doorway are walls that bear the marks of time. Zhitomir artist Suprunchuk Yuri Sergeevich Born on April 11, 1961, in the city of Zhitomir. Graduated from the Zheleznogorsk Art School, Russia (1982). Teachers in the specialty: V. Chukuev, E. Nikulin. Painter. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (2002). Major works: "Near the house" (2005), "Winter on the outskirts of Zhitomir" (2006), "Autumn still life" (2004). Lived and worked in the city of Zhitomir.
