This artwork captures a rustic scene with striking vibrancy and texture. Two large pumpkins, one orange and one green, are securely nestled in a weathered wooden cart, their surfaces rendered with meticulous attention, showcasing bumps and ridges. The cart's wheels, slightly askew, suggest a sense of motion or recent use. The artist employs a rich, earthy color palette, creating a lively interplay of warm and cool tones. The background is a whirl of abstract brushstrokes, blending deep greens and splashes of blue and red, which enhances the central focus on the pumpkins. This imparts a sense of depth and movement. Presentation
Serhiy Ivanovych was born on May 12, 1959. Kharkiv is an artist and a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1999). He graduated from the Kharkiv Art and Industrial Institute (1985, teachers E. Bykov and O. Khmelnytsky). He worked in the section of monumental painting of the Kharkiv Art and Production Complex (1985-91), from 1991 - on creative work. Since 1985 he has taken part in all-Union and all-Ukrainian exhibitions. Personal - 1998 (Kharkiv). Works in the field of monumental and decorative art and painting, uses fantastic motifs.
