Description
Kotmin 101
In "Pheasant on a Visit", Ukrainian artist Artim Olga presents a lively and detailed still-life composition featuring a vibrant pheasant amidst an arrangement of autumnal harvest. The painting is rich in textures and colors, depicting pumpkins, sunflowers, and orange physalis flowers. The central figure of the pheasant is painted with attention to its intricate plumage, standing tall and alert as if curiously inspecting its surroundings. The artist uses soft yet dynamic brushstrokes to bring the scene to life, creating a sense of movement and harmony between the natural elements. The earthy tones of the vegetables and the bright pops of orange flowers give the painting a warm, rustic feel, evoking the beauty of rural life during the fall season. Olga Artim expresses the richness of nature and the simple, yet profound, beauty of wildlife coexisting with the bountiful harvest. The pheasant, a symbol of nature's elegance, seems almost at home among the cultivated produce, blending the wild with the cultivated. Through this work, the artist highlights the interconnectedness of all living things and the abundance found in nature.

The artist has more than 40 exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad, including 10 personal ones. Her works are in private collections in Japan, the USA, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Russia and Ukraine.
Perceiving the world around her with love, everything that surrounds her, she recreates it with reverent tenderness in her paintings. Different in form and color scheme, they amaze with the author's ability to see beauty in all manifestations of life, to notice the beautiful in a child's smile, the gray head of a veteran. In still lifes, various manifestations of flowers are felt - brightness, variety of colors, sophisticated aroma.
The portrait genre occupies a large place in the author's work. All portrait and still life paintings are painted from nature. The characters, their costumes, and entourage are the author's ideas; he always creates clothes for the "models" with his own hands.
