The composition of the painting seems to be constructed from fragments of memories: the stylized architectural forms on the left and right resemble archival blocks, where each “brick-like" element represents a distinct experience - preserved, yet partially repainted by time.
The rigid, geometric shape of the red roof contrasts with the soft, almost blurred sky, where shades flow into one another, much like memories lose their clarity and take on new meanings. This is not a static scene, but rather an environment where the past is constantly transformed by the influence of the present.
Two white doves serve as images of memory in different states. One is in flight, blurred and ephemeral, like a memory that has just emerged or is slipping away. The other is static, perched atop the roof, as if a moment of temporary fixation when memory takes shape and seems accessible. However, their whiteness is not absolute - it absorbs the hues of the surrounding space, emphasizing that no memory exists in its pure form; it is always colored by context.
In this work, archiving appears not as preservation but as continuous editing. The painting functions as a field of “stream of consciousness," where images have no clear boundaries, and the transitions between them are soft and indefinite. It offers the viewer not a reconstruction of the past, but the experience of living through it - one that is fluid, subjective, and open to new interpretations.
