Description
The ink flows with total freedom on the paper. The gesture is spontaneous. The composition is born from a dialogue between the void and matter.
An organic form unfolds, evoking a silhouette or a suspended movement. The eye is immediately drawn to a deep blue circle. This focal point recalls a cell, a star, or an eye open to the invisible.
The shades of gray and black intertwine in fluid gradients. A few ink projections punctuate the space, bringing a jerky rhythm to the whole. A touch of warm ochre balances the coldness of the mineral tones.
The minimalist approach lets the white support breathe. The lightness of the lines suggests an evaporation, a gradual disappearance of the form.
This 2022 creation explores the boundary between chaos and order. It reflects a search for the intangible and the spiritual. The whole ends with the discreet presence of a red seal in the lower left corner.

I work my paintings on canvas or wood panel with oil paint, in several very thin layers and my silver photos are reworked on the computer.
My subjects of inspiration range from old paintings to images that cross my dreams and my times of meditation.
Any subject appeals to me and even more so the feminine…sacred, chaos, the soul and the spirit. Currently, quantum physics and field theory question me and push me towards these quantum tables!
Following a severe depression and lung cancer in 2015, I discovered a new medium, Indian ink and paper, which I call "evaporescences", these are abstract paintings and as spontaneous as possible. I also work in photography and digital editing.
