Description
The ink blossoms here in a spontaneous gesture. The white paper welcomes organic flows that intertwine. Shades of deep blue dialogue with touches of ochre and gray.
The composition plays on transparency and fluidity. The forms seem to float, suspended between chaos and lightness. The line varies, moving from dense areas to almost invisible touches.
This minimalist approach explores matter and void.
The visual balance rests on the contrast between the whiteness of the support and the depth of the pigments. This 2025 creation testifies to a search for the unpredictable.
The final rendering is characterized by diffused outlines and subtle gradients. A red seal punctuates the whole in the bottom right corner.
Presentation
"The ear has nothing to do here!!! It is the eyes that hear."
I work my paintings on canvas or wood panel with oil paint, in several very thin layers and my silver photos are reworked on the computer.
My subjects of inspiration range from old paintings to images that cross my dreams and my times of meditation.
Any subject appeals to me and even more so the feminine…sacred, chaos, the soul and the spirit. Currently, quantum physics and field theory question me and push me towards these quantum tables!
Following a severe depression and lung cancer in 2015, I discovered a new medium, Indian ink and paper, which I call "evaporescences", these are abstract paintings and as spontaneous as possible. I also work in photography and digital editing.
