Description
Inspired by frangipanias photographed during a trip to Mauritius, Bloom Field – Frangipani II explores the boundary between the presence of the flower and its fading in memory. The composition is built by successive strata of rose, coral, ochre, and white, carried by a generous material worked with a knife. The forms appear and then dissolve, allowing the color to gradually take over the drawing. The flower is never fully captured: it remains a sensation, a fleeting presence. In the Bloom Field series, the flower is not envisioned as a botanical subject, but as the starting point of a sensitive exploration. What interests me is not its faithful representation, but the imprint it leaves in us. The memory of the living gradually transforms the forms, until they become almost an abstract emotion. The contours fade, while the light, the warmth of a garden, the scent of a bloom, or the memory of a journey persist. Through the dialogue between the material, light, and color, Bloom Field – Frangipani II invites everyone to rediscover, in this deliberately incomplete image, their own memories and their own emotion in the face of the living.
Presentation
Tellyn-M is a contemporary French painter whose work falls within a sensitive and organic abstraction. Trained in art history, she develops a pictorial practice centered on matter, light, and the tension between control and letting go.
Her works, created with acrylic and plaster on canvas, are built up in successive layers, revealing deep and vibrant surfaces. Color, and particularly blue, plays a crucial role in her artistic exploration: it acts as an emotional space, a silent depth rather than a simple chromatic element.
