Description
Inspired by the frangipanias photographed during a trip to Mauritius, this work inaugurates the Bloom Field series, a new collection dedicated to plant memory. If the flower is immediately recognizable here, it is never described precisely. It emerges from the material, carried by the layers of paint and the knife strokes that allow the color to vibrate freely. The shades of pink, coral, white, and yellow stand out against a deep vegetal background, as if bathed in a diffuse light. In Bloom Field, the flower is not a botanical subject, but a starting point. What interests me is not its faithful representation, but the imprint it leaves on us. The memory of the living gradually transforms the forms, until they become almost an abstract emotion. The contours fade, while the sensation of a light, a scent, a season, or a place remains. Each work thus invites the gaze to complete what is not shown, allowing everyone to rediscover, through matter and color, their own nature memories.
Presentation
Tellyn-M is a contemporary French painter whose work falls within a sensitive and organic abstraction. Trained in art history, she develops a pictorial practice centered on matter, light, and the tension between control and letting go.
Her works, created with acrylic and plaster on canvas, are built up in successive layers, revealing deep and vibrant surfaces. Color, and particularly blue, plays a crucial role in her artistic exploration: it acts as an emotional space, a silent depth rather than a simple chromatic element.
