Flowers have always fascinated and captivated humans. They've been cultivated and used for ornamentation, their odor and pigments for centuries. Flowers are present in all cultures and have inspired all artists, from painters and sculptures to writers and poets.

50 years ago, flowers took a political turn. Hippies use the slogan “Flower Power" to spread their philosophy of a world without violence.
