Description
Presentation
Welcome to this time of the journey. A dynamic, variable, uncontrolled but tolerant and inclusive journey.
A journey that resonates with the random artistic practice of hippies or Pollock's abstractions based on movement.
And an artist who embraces this journey, lives like her art, develops and changes, tells about nature and society.
Born in Ankara, Turkey in 1994, Ilayda lives and works in Paris. Drawing and painting since a very young age, she studied architecture and scenography, and worked in the field of art. She gradually begins to leave her mark on the walls of Paris and tries out many disciplines in order to express her vision: marble painting, performance art, drawing, installation and collage.
She evolves her works focused on abstractions, bodies and colors towards more committed productions resulting from her cultural and artistic education, between traditional Turkish art and contemporary art. Her relationship to these two very different cultures leads her to questions about living together, where social sensitivity and intensity are intertwined.
Let the tree not ask the bird where it came from. He listens to her song. It is the journey of a moment when the colors mix between her. Through these works, Ilayda seeks to establish a poetic link with passers-by in the streets of Paris, while putting into perspective the social issues she deals with.
