Yunior Marino   New & remarkable Artists

This captivating artwork showcases a dynamic interplay of vibrant colors and fluid forms on a dark canvas. Each element resembles starbursts or cosmic explosions, emanating from a central point and extending outward in swirling, sinewy tendrils. The use of bright, varied hues such as blues, pinks, yellows, and greens creates a striking contrast against the black background, emphasizing the energy and movement within the composition. The repetitive pattern of these star-like forms evokes a harmonious yet chaotic rhythm, drawing the viewer into an otherworldly dimension. The artwork’s unique ability to blend organic shapes with a structured layout results in an intriguing balance of spontaneity and order, inviting contemplation. This piece is a bold statement of color theory and abstraction, leaving a lasting impression with its vivid depiction of endless creativity and cosmic wonder.

The act of painting becomes a form of meditation. Marino explains that the time and process of creating work are at the core of what the painting wants to mean, declaring: that is how they were made, they are what they are. Marino frames the art of creation simply by fixing what we have once destroyed. He actively uses his past and the concept of the passage of time with universality to heal his present and future. Marino, an artist in every sense of the word, works not only as a visual artist but also as a musician and designer. He seeks by all means to investigate the universal questions of the cosmos, nature, and time. He has captivated audiences with the colorful details of his paintings, the moody, ethereal melodies of his music, and the directness of his photography. He conceives the creation of his paintings as mantras, in the sense that by repeating the same action, his mind empties completely.
