The old red house, 2022

Ziad Dib Jreige

A vibrant exploration of architectural solitude. This acrylic painting captures a solitary structure nestled within a lush, undulating landscape. The artist employs a rich palette of outstanding hues to evoke a sense of serene isolation. The narrative flows through a seamless fusion of realism and fantasy. Rhythmic brushstrokes define the verdant garden and the towering mountain silhouettes in the background. Every detail encourages deep contemplation, bridging the gap between visual art and poetic imagination. The composition is a testament to an experimental approach. It transforms a simple scene into an intellectual study of color and form. The bold reds of the building contrast sharply with the natural greens, creating a mesmerizing visual tension. The artwork reflects a profound dialogue between nature and human presence. It invites the viewer to step into a world where landscape becomes a metaphor for memory and poetry. A precise execution of light and shadow completes this inspiring scene.

This artwork is a study of the "Big cedar tree" of Armenian artist Suren Nersisyan.
