How did you become an artist? I have always liked to manipulate objects and shapes, I made it my daily life, choosing to study at the Beaux-Arts. How would you define your universe? My first course of study was graphic design, I draw on it enormously. I have always been very drawn to Swiss and Dutch designers, whose minimalist and refined work tends to the essential while being very structured, even if in the end what I produce is very far from it. I like the idea of being halfway between design and art. Not to choose sides. Currently I am working on forms of architectural landscapes in mutations. I attach a lot of importance to the color that I work in a rather intuitive way, while accepting that some of my color ranges can sometimes be dissonant, these then echoing the strangeness of the landscapes that I build. Which artist (dead or alive) would you like to meet? A poet, Malarmé for "A throw of the dice will never abolish chance". Can you share with us an artistic anecdote? I prepared an exhibition for the Mac of Sallaumines, I worked on this project for almost a year, and a week after the start of the exhibition, on March 16, 2020, France is confined due to coronavirus and the Mac is forced to close its doors!
