Description
This striking artwork showcases a vibrant interplay of abstract forms and colors, commanding attention with its dynamic composition. The canvas bursts with bold splashes of red, orange, and yellow, intermingling with cooler tones of blue and purple. Each hue appears meticulously layered and textured, creating a sense of movement and depth. The artist’s technique involves intricate linework and crosshatching, adding complexity and a tactile quality to the piece. The juxtaposition of warm and cool shades evokes a sense of both chaos and harmony, engaging the observer in a visual dialogue. The abstract forms, reminiscent of organic and fluid shapes, suggest a sense of evolution and transformation. This work captivates with its bold use of color and texture, inviting viewers to explore its myriad complexities and fascinating contrasts.

Presentation
Alejandra Quintanilla studied and received a degree in Arts at the University of Monterrey UDEM.
This new series is born from a search to leave aside the narrative figurative and reduce the image to shape and colour.
The series starts with both images found as well as her own images, previous pieces, from her palette, from drawings, in a self-referential way.
The process of creating a painting leaves a series of created elements and randomly they become the starting point for the next piece. It is a process of adding and removing; always keeping in mind the history of abstract art.
A drawing is a brand, which becomes a picture and leaves remains that become the beginning again. This creates a reflection on time and importance of the process in painting.
She also attended a residency program at the Cooper Union School of Art in New York.
Her work has been exposed to individuals and collections in museums in Mexico, the United States, Bolivia and Brazil. She was a selected artist at the Monterrey Arts Center at the 16th General Assembly at the Center Roberto Garza Sada. And from a collectivist group, she exhibited at the Marco Museum (Mty), Rufino Tamayo Museum (Mexico, DF), Palazzo Delle Papesse (Siena, Italy), Arts Center (Mty), Museo del Chopo (Mexico, DF).
Her work was selected in XIV Bienal de Pintura Rufino Tamayo, ARTEMERGENTE Bienal Monterrey, Third and Monterrey, to name a few and her work was exhibited in fairs as well as in Maco in the Arco de Madrid.
Her work was in the collection of the Museum of Fine Art, Houston and the Museum of Latin American Art, California.
