Description
Vibrant energy meets geometric precision in this acrylic painting. An Italian explorer seeks to instill a sense of well-being through striking color. The composition is defined by bold horizontal bands. Deep blue crowns the top. A minty green anchors the base. Two crisp white layers frame a central strip of intense magenta.
A dynamic spiral disrupts the order. Swirls of thick white paint rotate toward a central point. This fluid gesture evokes the motion of waves and natural currents. The contrast between the strict lines and the spontaneous circle speaks to the beauty of imperfection. High saturation creates an atmosphere of escapism and serenity. The artwork balances the rationality of design with the intuition of a traveler. Each stroke reflects a quest for light-heartedness and joy. The spiral rests atop the colorful background, adding physical depth to the flat planes. This 2022 piece merges abstract geometry with raw emotional expression. The focal point remains the radiating white ring set against the vivid pink center.
Presentation
Luca is an internationally acclaimed contemporary artist who is based in Italy. He's also a traveller and explorer inspired by waves and nature. Following his BS in Agricultural and Science graduation and in Interior Design later at the Europe Institute of Design in Milan, and thanks to his extensive travels he began to think more frequently about striking colours, pushed by the idea that some of these could somehow instil exhilaration, light-heartedness, escapism and well-being…and with all these notions he decides to begin conveying all his concepts on canvas. And it is in this way his artistic journey began, completely instinctive where through his work he tries to express the imperfections of life utilising colours as the ideological source of serenity and joy.
