"It is always difficult for a painter to talk about his painting. Through my various paintings, I do not try to make any manifesto; I simply feel the need to be an observer of time through forms and colors placed on the canvas. These are not dreams, they are not nightmares, they are moments that one could capture as one captures butterflies, some of which would suddenly settle on the canvas in spots of color, while others, like the flight of snapshots, would invite themselves into this first construction to disturb it and sometimes give the path of reverie another direction. My painting would like to go beyond the immediacy of the gaze for its transposition on a support. It is a journey between lived experience and something that begins, as a kind of maturation, expressed by shapes and colors, the result of an interrogation on the world, in an attempt to bring it to light as it is. 'he offers himself to me in all its multiple diversity. Painting: it is having the impression of remaking the world without constraints, of being able to let go according to one's fancy. A beautiful illusion, but which it seems to me that art needs in its search for a "beyond", a utopia which, fortunately, always escapes. "
