Description
Vibrant, colourful and expressive original painting, Inspired by the beauty of nature, flowers and bright colors. The world we live in is made of colour. Colour is what creates beauty, energy. It evokes emotion, it involves feelings. I have always been fascinated with colour and flowers. Combining two together, you have unlimited possibilities of creating art. But creating art, or painting in my case, goes deeper than putting two of them together. It starts with emotion or feeling and then it spills out.
Presentation
Artist Statement:
« Through my art, I can express what I experience and find a deeper understanding of this vast universe and my own flickering place within it. »
Welcome to my colorful world of art!
Greetings from Greece, where the sun is always shining and the world that surrounds me is always an inspiration for my art!
My name is Irini Karpikioti. I am a professional artist.
I have been painting and selling my artworks worldwide for more than 10 years.
Since my early devotion to painting, my primary motivation has been nature and the world around me. With a concentration on contemporary abstract art, each piece I compose is a mirror to my soul.
The colors and styling of my pieces evoke that sense of joy, amazement and wonderment that I feel every day.Color is my true passion. Always on the quest to discover exciting colors and compelling combinations, I am continually excited by new hues that are in the world around us.
I've come a long way from the classical to abstract art. Through trial and error, through years of practice I've developed my style and technique. The main material I use is acrylic with other mediums- oil, charcoal, ink
My paintings are an expression of joy, beauty, kindness, my love for God, nature and humankind.
If my painting inspires you, brings you joy, creates a special atmosphere or make you feel a bit happier, well, it means my job's done here !
I hope you ll enjoy my artworks as much as i enjoyed create them.
