Description

Acrylic paint, oil pastel details and scrap leather collage on stretched cotton canvas.

This captivating work is characterised by its dynamic geometric shapes and bold palette of vibrant reds, deep blues and earthy tones. The intertwining curves create a fluid movement, evoking a harmonious dance. Each form seems to be in dialogue, defying conventional perceptions of depth and perspective. The sharp contrasts between the colours intensify the composition, irresistibly drawing the eye. Black accents add dramatic depth, while touches of beige soften the whole, balancing the chromatic intensity. This resolutely modern work illustrates the tension between static and dynamic, capturing a fleeting moment of pure energy. A veritable visual symphony, it prompts deep reflection on the connection between form and emotion.

Presentation

Laura works mainly with acrylic paint, which she naturally combines with other types of materials to bring materials and nuances: pastels, embroidery, paper collage, wood, ceramics and textiles.

His approach is above all spontaneous, the links between curves and abstract forms reflect an obvious musicality.

Sensitive to architecture, design and passionate about music, Laura approaches her creative process like a musical sequence: the brushstrokes are rhythmic and precise, and the shapes follow a certain improvised choreography.

The vivid palette remains heavily influenced by her mood and inspirations of the moment. Very colorful and rhythmic, Laura's abstract symphonies express optimism and harmony.
