Description
“Speed 1” (aka “Rainbow”); Seascape, multicolored, in horizontal view. Sailboats in motion, gliding on the water.
Semi-abstract work; blue, yellow, orange, white. Sailing, catamarans, yachts.
Sailboat racing around the world; Wind of the Globes, Regatta.
A painting made mainly with a knife, very textured.
The work is luminous and shimmering, the colors are vivid. Summery, in the colors of the rainbow.
“Speed 1” is preferably combined with “Speed 2”; It would be a shame to separate them.
The work is framed in an American box in light solid wood; Created by a professional framer.
The chamfers of the canvas are painted gray/beige. The whole thing is semi-gloss varnished.

Presentation
“I am for a reconnection with the Living; My artistic quest is to express the beauty and joy of being connected to the Earth.
In love with our blue planet, Sophie follows her inspiration wherever it comes from, as long as the common thread is, mainly the Environment, more precisely the Natural Elements. She uses contrast to bring out the light, tries to get to the essential, with the grace of the natural.
Sophie is a French artist, born in Paris in 1964. Listed at i-CAC, present on the international art market for 20 years.
Graduated as a “decorative painter" from the Art et Métier Institute for Decorative Mural Art;
Frescoes and Trompe-l'oeil.
