Presentation
Freddy est une designer textile française, née en 1955 à Paris ou elle fréquente les arts appliqués ainsi que les beaux-arts.
Dans les année 80 elle commence son travail d'artiste chez Paul Hargittai, prix de Rome en 1956, peintre de renommée internationale dans son atelier rue de la paix.
Ses œuvres se font mondialement connaitre au travers de ses collaborations, notamment avec de grands couturiers comme Yves Saint Laurent, Christian Lacroix, Léonard, Dior, mais également avec de grandes marques de prêt à porter, Pain de Sucre, Chacock, Ralph Lauren…
En 2007 elle se lance dans l'ouverture de son propre atelier de designer textile avec son associée « Antoinette et Freddy », 4 ans plus tard, l'atelier déménage dans le sud de la France à Montpellier.
Adepte de l'huile, de la craie ou encore de l'encre, elle peint sur différents supports, toiles, papiers Japon. Sa créativité reflète sa spontanéité.
Sous l'influence de Matisse, Hartung, ou encore Soulage, Freddy défend la notion de liberté et de plaisir dans l'art
