Moments of Bliss, 2024

Tetiana Pchelnykova

In the latest addition to the "The Joy Series: A Journey to Inner Happiness," the artist encapsulates the essence of serenity and contentment in the painting titled "Moments of Bliss".

The piece features a seated woman cradling a kitten in her arms, embodying the tranquility and joy found in simple moments of connection with nature and companionship. In the background, a graphical representation of lush green foliage suggests either the presence of an indoor garden or the verdant landscape outside a window, further enhancing the theme of harmony with the natural world.

Through 'Moments of Bliss,' the artist invites viewers to embrace the beauty of everyday moments and the profound sense of peace that accompanies them, echoing the sentiments of their Artist Statement. This painting serves as a gentle reminder to cherish the small joys that enrich our lives and nurture our inner well-being.

"The Joy Series: A Journey to Inner Happiness."

In this series of artworks, I delve into the theme of happiness and joy in unusual times when it seems that the whole world is in a state of upheaval and instability. My inspiration and concept stem from the conversations of the Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu in their book "The Book of Joy," where both share wisdom and practical advice on achieving inner happiness even in a changing world.

My work is focused on bringing to light the inner joy that lies within us, regardless of the circumstances of the external world. Each canvas in the series reflects everyday scenes and moments when the most ordinary actions can become a source of deep satisfaction and peace.

I employ various techniques and painting styles to convey this concept, blending realism with abstraction and symbolism. Each image in my works is created with the thought of how it can inspire the viewer to inner discovery and the pursuit of joy in their own lives.

This series of paintings is intended not only for aesthetic enjoyment but also as a means of stimulating reflection and dialogue about what truly matters in our lives and how we can find happiness in any situation.

I invite you on this journey to inner happiness with my new series of paintings, "The Joy Series." Be open to new experiences and discoveries!
