Patrice Murciano

Self-taught, Patrice Murciano built himself far from the classic fine arts courses, using his mother's makeup from the age of 6 to draw portraits. It multiplies styles and techniques, which are all exploratory avenues, as many ways of conceiving the True, the Beautiful and the Just. From Courbisme to Gribouillisme, from Pop Grunge to New Pop, he gives us his truths with sincerity. His drips are only the reflection of the eternal movement of Life, like the skull that sits in his studio: nothing is static, nothing is fixed, nothing is 'is smooth… The New Pop is certainly the style that best matches his complex personality: a shock wave! Against the tide Patrice Murciano? Certainly, but it carries a lot of people in its wake ...
