Description
"Sunset Over Skyscrapers" presents a dynamic 50x60cm oil on canvas that masterfully encapsulates the pulsating energy of city life. The artwork is a symphony of bold blues and vivid oranges, representing the interaction of sunlight with the city's architecture. The abstract portrayal of skyscrapers, mirrored on the surface of water below, creates a scene that is both familiar and fantastical. The impasto technique used delivers a sense of movement and depth, inviting the viewer to a contemplative journey through an urban landscape transformed by color and light.
Presentation
Narek Qochunts was born on May 21, 1988 in Goris, Armenia. From 1996 to 2001 he attended the art school, and from 1997 to 2002 the art school of fine arts in his hometown. In 2003-2010 he studied at the Department of Painting of the State College of Fine Arts after P.Terlemezyan.
He took part in all the exhibitions held by the college, including the competition «Three Masters» at A. Tamanyan museum-institution. Also, he received an award from the Ministry of Education and Science for the illustrations of the epos «Sasuntsi Davit».
Narek Qochunts's works can be found in many places around the world-Barcelona, Boston, London, Moscow, Lebanon and Armenia . Some of his works are exhibited at the «West London Art Factory» gallery, London, UK.
