Description
Feel the warmth of the sun, the power and vital energy of nature.
Here is “Tropicales" from my “Flowers and Gardens" collection, an explosion of colors and shapes evoking the beauty and vitality of nature in bloom.
This abstract floral composition is worked in ample and free gestures with acrylic paint on a structured background with colored papers mounted on an 80 x 80 cm canvas.
Shades of intense flamboyant reds, bright greens and blues mix and overlap, colorful contrasts and layering add strength and softness. The sides are painted white, the canvas is covered with a matte varnish, it is delivered ready to hang.
Presentation
Focused on abstraction, Marianne Quinzin's work evokes nature and its elements. Flowers, landscapes, skies, waters, mountains and rocks nourish his inspiration.
Driven by color and experimentation, each canvas invites him to a new adventure. The artist creates imaginary spaces imbued with memories and emotions, in a dialogue between will and chance, intention and accident, bias and use of the unexpected.
His artistic affinities are multiple and eclectic. She admires the light of Turner, the power of the colored vibrations and the rigor of the compositions of De Staël, the explosive freedom of Joan Mitchell, the technical mastery and the extent of the work of Gerhard Richter, sometimes figurative, sometimes abstract.
The artistic movements that influence his painting are mainly abstract expressionism and lyrical abstraction. She is particularly inspired by the work of Zao Wou-Ki, for his search for light, his play of transparency and opacity, and his alternations of emptiness and fullness.
Professional painter listed I.CAC, graduate of Decorative Arts and the National School of Fine Arts of Lyon, she has devoted herself entirely to painting for around twenty years. Today, she lives and works in Rouen. His work is present in numerous private collections in France and around the world.
