Reflections of a cyber Muse, Circa 2018

Resin sculpture canvas entitled "Reflections of a Cyber Muse"

Framed by a swirl of colors and shapes, this acrylic and oil on canvas artwork is more than just a portrait. It is a window into the soul of an era where traditional art meets digital, where the lines between the real and the virtual blur.

At the center of this composition, the face of a woman, elegantly stylized, dominates. Her features are sharp, defined by contrasting black lines, and her expression is soft but full of mystery. The shades of purple, pink and blue that make up her face bring a touch of modernity to a classic, almost timeless portrait. The slightly pink lips sketch an enigmatic smile, as if she were hiding secrets of the digital world she embodies.

Around her, the frame transforms into an eclectic mosaic of symbols, graffiti and small three-dimensional objects. Candies, flowers and butterflies, which seem to float weightlessly, add a touch of naivety and sweetness, contrasting with the inscriptions and tags that evoke the raw energy of urban culture and street art. There are words like "CYBER-GRAFF", "HIP-HOP", and references to artistic movements, which anchor this work in a rich and contemporary cultural context.

Each element of the frame is a nod to a form of expression, whether it is graffiti, pop art, or digital culture. The white writing on the black frame recalls street tags, while the small objects stuck here and there bring a playful and interactive dimension. It is a celebration of the multiplicity of art forms that intertwine to form a coherent vision, a tribute to the continuous evolution of human creativity.

Title: "Reflections of a Cyber Muse"

This title evokes both the introspective nature of the central portrait and the digital and cultural context that surrounds it. The "Muse" is here both a symbol of classical beauty and a modern icon, reflecting the influences of our time where the digital and the traditional coexist and feed off each other.
