Enchantement n°7 (pleine lune), 2024

Marta Grassi   Emerging artists

Acrylic paint and graphite pencil on cotton canvas (rolled). Possibility to buy it stretched on a wooden frame exclusively for collection in Paris 15th.

Continuing my "enchantment" series, this work presents an intriguing scene, mixing drawing and watercolor.

Two female figures, delicately drawn in pencil, emerge from the canvas tinted with soft, vibrant shades.

The background is dominated by a bright pink, which envelops the characters and gives the work a dreamlike atmosphere. These mysterious figures merge into one, and their expressions are calm and contemplative, prompting the viewer to question their relationship and their shared history.

The full moon floats above their heads, adding a mystical dimension to the whole. The touches of bright green, which roughly represent stems and leaves, contrast with the pink background, evoking nature and vitality, growth and renewal. The harmonious marriage of man and nature, as well as the use of bright colors and soft shapes, make this work both hypnotic and introspective, it allows for multiple readings, appealing to the imagination and memory of the viewer.

Some areas are unpainted, but the entire surface is prepared for the proper conservation of the work and protected with matte varnish.

For a more ecological and cheaper shipment, the work will be sent rolled in a tube, easy to stretch by a framer near your home. For this, 4 cm margins have been added on the edges of the painting.
