Description
This captivating work of art is a painting where abstract meets figurative with striking intensity. Dominated by a palette of marine blues and aquatic hues, the work evokes the depth and immensity of the ocean. The central element, clearly identifiable as a stylized representation of a heart, appears to float on a sea of gradual opacity, extending from lightest to darkest towards the bottom of the canvas. Christine Marie Nobre is an award-winning painter, photographer and sculptor based in France.
His works have been exhibited nationally, in Italy, the United Kingdom and the United States. One of the central themes in her works is light, as she feels that we live in a dark world and that humans are all "little lights that need to be awakened".
Nobre creates "passages in the imaginary" through visions and the cosmic as organic to the "antipodes of space and time".
