The work presented is a captivating painting that captures the serenity and wild beauty of an autumn landscape under a night sky. The scene is dominated by warm, earthy tones, with a particular emphasis on shades of brown, orange and yellow that evoke an autumnal transition. In the foreground, two birch trees stand majestically. Their slender white trunks stand out elegantly against the dark background, symbolizing the resilience of nature. The foliage, partially fallen, reveals the finesse of the branches, bringing a touch of fragility to the painting. The field that extends in the background is dotted with tall windswept grass, creating a subtle movement that animates the composition. This dynamic nuance is masterfully balanced by the stillness of the forest trees in the background, painted in darker and more mysterious tones. The sky, a masterpiece of cloudy nuances, is illuminated by the presence of a full moon, visible but veiled by clouds. This diffuse lunar light adds to the poetic and dreamy atmosphere of the whole, while reinforcing the dramatic tension between shadow and light. Each brushstroke testifies to the technical mastery and sensitivity of the artist, who manages to evoke both the tranquility and the mystery of nature. This work is distinguished by its ability to capture the essence of a fleeting moment, suspended between day and night, between the warmth of autumn and the coldness of the coming winter.
