Description
26STRASH
"A Game" by Alexander Strashevich is an abstract composition featuring layered, rounded forms in shades of blue, black, and yellow, outlined with a delicate, glowing border. The shapes, reminiscent of playful, stylized figures or creatures, appear to interact with circular elements scattered across the canvas, giving a whimsical and lively feel to the piece. In this work, Strashevich might be exploring themes of interaction, curiosity, and spontaneity. The rounded, overlapping shapes suggest a sense of community or companionship, while the circular orbs add a touch of mystery and movement, almost as if they are pieces in an enigmatic game. The painting invites viewers to imagine stories or relationships between the forms, capturing the spirit of playfulness and wonder inherent in human connection and interaction.

Born 1951 in Odessa, Ukraine 1970 – graduated from the Odessa Art College. Grekova. 1975-1990 – worked as a muralist. 1977 - member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Since 1970 – participant of city, all-Ukrainian and foreign exhibitions. The creative heritage of Alexander Strashevich includes not only works of monumental painting, but also paintings of building interiors, exterior mosaics, and sculptural works. In his work, Alexander prefers a modern plastic and color worldview, which allows him to harmoniously combine his works with modern interiors, including those in the high-tech style. His works show a plastic connection between sculpture and painting. He prefers abstract and postmodern styles, although he also writes realistic works.
