Description
73STRASHIn "Figure," Alexander Strashevich explores the human form through abstract shapes and flowing lines. The soft curves and layered patterns suggest a body in profile, yet the figure remains undefined, blending seamlessly with surrounding shapes. This ambiguity captures the fluidity and complexity of identity, as the human form appears both distinct and interconnected with its environment. The cool blue tones juxtaposed with warm earthy hues create a balanced contrast, symbolizing harmony between self and surroundings. Strashevich's abstract representation invites viewers to contemplate the essence of form beyond physical boundaries, celebrating the beauty of the human figure as a part of a greater whole.

Born 1951 in Odessa, Ukraine 1970 – graduated from the Odessa Art College. Grekova. 1975-1990 – worked as a muralist. 1977 - member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Since 1970 – participant of city, all-Ukrainian and foreign exhibitions. The creative heritage of Alexander Strashevich includes not only works of monumental painting, but also paintings of building interiors, exterior mosaics, and sculptural works. In his work, Alexander prefers a modern plastic and color worldview, which allows him to harmoniously combine his works with modern interiors, including those in the high-tech style. His works show a plastic connection between sculpture and painting. He prefers abstract and postmodern styles, although he also writes realistic works.
