Presentation
Born in 1967 in Grenoble. Frédéric Batard discovered painting alongside his grandfather, a watercolourist. From an early age, he assiduously frequented museums and libraries and was passionate about abstract art and design.
At the age of 19, he took the plunge and made his first paintings. For five years, he created tirelessly, then stopped to devote himself to his job as a physiotherapist and his family.
At the same time, he is expanding his collection of contemporary works and advertising posters.
In 2010, at the instigation of his new partner, he got caught up in the game and rediscovered the pleasure of painting. A mad desire to make up for lost time motivates him. He exhibited his first paintings in his Cabinet. A patient offers him to exhibit at the 'Auberge des Peintres' in Optevoz in the footsteps of Corot and Daubigny, he accepts. The adventure is launched. A journalist nicknamed him "the color massager".
Since then, he has been regularly selected in salons and exhibited both in unexpected public places and in galleries in France. He is a member of the Lyon Academy of Painting.
