Description
Lake Thun is one of the most picturesque lakes in Switzerland, located in the canton of Bern. Its beauty impresses with its natural harmony and diversity of landscapes. One day, sitting on the shore of the beautiful Lake Thun, I was enjoying a moment of peace and tranquility. Rays of light reflected in the smooth surface of the water, creating an atmosphere of magic.Suddenly, my gaze was drawn to the clouds in the sky - they floated like waves, light and airy. As if nature itself decided to play with color and form. The calm surface of the water and these "waves" in the sky created an incredible contrast that did not leave me indifferent. This moment became for me a symbol of the beauty and simplicity of nature, which I would like to share with the world through my art.
The painting's color scheme is built on shades of blue, creating a sense of coolness and depth. The dark blue of the water contrasts with the lighter sky, emphasizing the sophistication of the landscape. The mountains in the background are painted in muted blue-gray tones, which creates a sense of distance and fog. Overall, the painting's color scheme conveys a sense of the restrained beauty of nature.
In this painting, minimalism is expressed in a limited palette of colors, dominated by shades of blue. Only the necessary elements are used to convey the atmosphere: mountains, sky, and water surface. The lack of unnecessary details and the focus on texture and color create a sense of calm and contemplation, which is typical of the minimalist aesthetic.
It was exhibited at the Art Exhibition in Zurich, Switzerland. SWISSARTEXPO. ARTBOX. PROJECT Zurich 7.0, August 2025.
This original impasto painting was created on a high-quality canvas (80/60 cm) with a palette knife, using environmentally friendly oil colors with natural pigment. Color on computer monitors may vary. The painting was created in a unique individual technique in the impressionism style. It does not require a frame. Painting is covered with UV varnish. Signed back. Ready to hang. One-of-a-Kind Painting. Certificate is attached. Video of this artwork upon your request.
