Description
This captivating artwork features an abstract landscape dominated by a palette of blues and grays. The scene evokes a misty horizon, where blurred shapes trace the silhouette of mountains or trees, creating a mysterious and ethereal atmosphere. The artist's technique, using energetic brushstrokes and varied textures, suggests an aquatic reflection that doubles the composition. The subtle play of light and shades reinforces the impression of depth and movement. This powerful work transports the viewer into a world of contemplation, inviting to explore beyond the visible while remaining anchored in reality. The strength of this composition lies in its harmonious balance between abstraction and suggestion, offering a rich and immersive visual experience.
Presentation
The Abstract - Search and search again... Put water, ink, inks, matter, test, retest, tilt, blow, send, let dry. Wait. Let it happen, watch, start again... Contemplate the metamorphosis, the path of fluids. This is the search for the Abstract. Each time, it was a real battle with my canvas, but I had so much fun!!!
When we look at the earth from the sky, the images sometimes go beyond our understanding. But we only have to look around us and we see many similarities… One day, returning to the beach after a swim, I was amazed to see the traces of the water that had flowed away during the low tide on the wet sand. Magnificent pictures were offered to my gaze.
Mother Nature reveals to us landscapes so grandiose that we would never have dared to imagine even in our wildest dreams. No artist could match HER perfection. My quest today is to try to recreate conditions so that Mother Nature can work.
