Description
This abstract artwork features a fascinating composition of earthy textures and shades. Dominated by deep brown tones and beige hues, it evokes an atmosphere that is both mystical and natural. The contrast between dark and light areas creates a sense of depth and movement. The blurred edges suggest a gradual dissolution, allowing the eye to travel through the pictorial space without constraints. The elements seem to float in an ethereal mist, inciting introspection. The play of light and shadow offers an almost tactile dimension, inviting the viewer to explore the subtle details. The ambiguity of the central motif leaves room for various interpretations, transforming it into a mirror of the viewer's emotions and thoughts. A powerful work that harmoniously combines technique and emotion.
Presentation
The Abstract - Search and search again... Put water, ink, inks, matter, test, retest, tilt, blow, send, let dry. Wait. Let it happen, watch, start again... Contemplate the metamorphosis, the path of fluids. This is the search for the Abstract. Each time, it was a real battle with my canvas, but I had so much fun!!!
When we look at the earth from the sky, the images sometimes go beyond our understanding. But we only have to look around us and we see many similarities… One day, returning to the beach after a swim, I was amazed to see the traces of the water that had flowed away during the low tide on the wet sand. Magnificent pictures were offered to my gaze.
Mother Nature reveals to us landscapes so grandiose that we would never have dared to imagine even in our wildest dreams. No artist could match HER perfection. My quest today is to try to recreate conditions so that Mother Nature can work.
