Emma Godebska is a contemporary French painter who has exhibited nationally as well as in China and the United Kingdom. Her works convey the notion of trace, memory and what remains after a passage. Godebska starts from the principle that we are the link between the energy from above (the sky and spirituality) and the energy from below (the earth). She believes that when such a connection coincides, the gestures and the resulting work align.
