Description
This vibrant artwork captures a mesmerizing tableau of ethereal flowers in full bloom. The composition is dominated by sweeping petals, rendered in soft pastels and luminous golds, creating a harmonious contrast against the rich, multi-hued backdrop. Each flower is delicately detailed, with slender, shining stamens that draw the eye inward, suggesting a heart of vitality and elegance. The use of light and shadow enhances the three-dimensionality, giving the blooms an almost palpable presence. A dynamic mix of vertical strokes suggests movement and depth, immersing the viewer in a dreamlike garden. Presentation
Annette is an artist living and working in southern Germany. She discovered her love for art an early age. She has worked as a doctor, and she is a self taught artist. Her inspiration is drawn from color, shape, proportion and mostly from light. She highly values oil paintings because it gives her a huge variety of technical means for creating a picture in which she can express everything she wants. The theme of her art can be everything, but her essential intention ist o bring out light and width and expanse, at last a feeling of freedom. Her style of painting changes between controlled and experimental, using the traditional oil technique as well as the mixture oil and acrylic colour.
She says of herself:
“As an autodidact, I work from the awareness that I am not beholden to anyone. I don't have to strive for an “individual handwriting" or paint in a certain direction. The only strict judge of my pictures is myself. This large amount of freedom gives me plenty of room for new image ideas."
